(2). Several abnormal metabolic signs observed in the iris are associated with a metabolic condition in supposedly healthy young or middle-aged people.  However, these people will soon develop degenerative diseases or premature aging. Often, children inherit abnormal iris signs from their parents, such as deep radial furrows (nerve ring), abnormal collarette in zig-zags (sympathetic nervous system), bad colon, etc.

Centenarian societies, as described above, are still physically active, healthy, and happy long into their 80s-90s.  Some of them work in fields up to 100 years old, in places like Okinawa and in a province of China, where people live disease-free.  According to biologists, humans are supposed to live up to 120 years of age.

Dr. Bernard Jensen, DC, PhD, spent many years traveling around the world studying the lifestyles of centenarians in Hunza, Ecuador, Azerbaijan, Russia, and other areas. In Baku, USSR, he visited and interviewed the oldest man in the world, Shirali Muslimov, at age 153 and still very active. (See Nature as a Remedy by Bernard Jensen with illustrations).

Fauja Singh, a British Indian, was the oldest man to run a marathon at 100 years of age (Boston Marathon).  At 101, he ran in the Birmingham International Marathon.  At 103, he ran in the Hong Kong Marathon, and at 104, the Bombay Marathon. Today at 111, Fauja does not run anymore because he suffers from a hernia, but he walks 8 km daily. Interestingly, he started to run marathons at 88 years of age.  As a child, he complained about weak legs, then started exercising. Another good example in today’s society is Clint Eastwood, who, at 90 years of age is still making films. Mr. Eastwood is vegetarian but takes supplements.

In developed countries, people supposedly have the best medicine possible.  Medical protocols treat ailments with pharmaceutical drugs and vaccinate children, adults, and the aged.  However, these people develop degenerative diseases, infections, epidemics, and cancer. In addition, iatrogenesis is among the top three leading causes of death, lifespan is now decreasing, and people suffer from aging with brain and physical deterioration.
