2 Choose Peace - Ask yourself, “Am I feeling peaceful in this moment?” Then consciously choose peace. The more peaceful you are, the happier and healthier you become. In our modern world, it’s easy to be distracted and removed from your feelings. It can take great effort to be peaceful, yet the rewards are well worth it.

Take a moment, close your eyes, and imagine yourself at the beach or in a forest, without stress or anxiety… Just pure, unruffled peace. Feel it in your body. Relax into it. Breathe. See yourself there, capturing all the details in your mind’s eye, and feel relaxation filling your body. Connect-ing with Nature has a very peaceful effect on most people, whether they experience it physically or via the imagination.

When you are PEACEFUL, you are tapped in to your intuitive guidance system. The moment you are agitated, stressed, or upset, you have lost that alignment.

Whenever you are agitated, stressed, or upset, remember that you have the power to choose peace instead.

3 Be Grateful - Keep a Gratitude Journal to jot down the blessings in your life. Studies have shown that gratitude positively affects your health, your relationships, helps you earn more mon-ey, and positively affect others around you. Cultivating an ‘attitude of gratitude’ can take focus and dedication, especially during difficult or challenging times. Yet these are the times when it’s most important. Appreciation and gratitude are the foundations for creating a happier, healthier life. Incorporate them into your life daily and you will notice your happiness quotient soar. Every experience is truly a gift, for it provides you with lessons and opportunities to grow. You may appreciate some experiences more than others, yet they can all be received with gratitude.
