For Example, technology allows me to offer my 528 Hz Calming Harp music (www.calmingharp.com and www.youtube.com/peregrinnatti ) on the internet to millions of people around the world. At the same time, it can consume my time at an inordinate rate if I am not careful.

A second external factor is actually the environment around us. As I commented last month; sometimes we need to just get the business out of our lives and go to a quiet natural place like a lake, stream, park, or sea shore and just let our souls be soothed by the sights and sounds of nature. While our work area may not be as conducive to this, we can add things or change things that can help us avoid being so “pressurized.” I sometimes put a plug in for my music as background ambient music to help keep my stress levels down. In fact, there are many comments on YouTube stating my Calming Harp music does exactly that. We can also take control as to which duties are more important than others and prioritize them according to time allotments.

Another area of attention is our internal environment where we take control of our thoughts and behavior. Notice when your mind begins to wander. Also, have a notebook for jotting down these thoughts and how they need to be addressed. But, avoid doing this in the middle of when you are currently concentrating on something else. For this, I have a small notebook I call “My Brain,” which helps me remember some of those thoughts that come to mind at a time when I can’t deal with them immediately, but still need to be addressed.

Maura continues to say, ”Practicing attention management will not eliminate distractions from your day. But as you start to recognize when you become distracted, and build your “attention muscle” through habits like those above, you’ll start to reclaim your life and devote more of yourself to what’s really important to you. So, don’t allow distraction to derail your aspirations and intentions. Instead, control your attention to control your life.”

Paying attention to our health helps to take care of our internal environment. As I have written in many issues, it is much more sensible to take a preventative holistic approach to health and wellness than letting our health crash and then pay any attention to it. I believe in taking supplements, paying attention to the food we eat, keeping active, using frequency technologies to augment our wellness, and providing clean water, along with various other natural ways of maintaining our health.

That’s precisely why I started my web store – www.thecalmingstore.com

As we celebrate Thanksgiving, I suggest that having a thankful attitude is one of the best ways of taking care of our internal environment. And I might add, thankfulness seems to help our spiritual nature become more tuned.

It is true that we are currently being faced with major challenges all around the world; and that many people are experiencing life changing events, which will have a long-lasting impact. It is true that businesses are closing and lockdowns are frustrating many people and causing great economic problems. But, if we can stop and think about all the things we can still be thankful for, this can really help bring light and positivity to our perspective.

We can truly be masters of our health and fate if we take control of our lives and the choices we make. We can control the way we approach the things we are obliged to do, as well as the things we think are really important and choose to do. We need not be helpless observers – We can instead choose to be active planners and participants!

As a wise man once said, “The answer is in your hands!”
