Neuroscience Breakthroughs

Dr. Eric Plasker, DC

Many people hear the word neuroscience, and they immediately tune out.

If you look up the definition in the dictionary, you’ll find something like, “a branch of life sciences that deals with the anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, or molecular biology of nerves and nervous tissue and especially with their relation to behavior and learning.

Sounds like something you don’t really need to understand to live your life.

However, if you listen to a recent podcast conversation between Dr. Stephanie Sullivan and me (click on the video below), you’ll learn that neuroscience is really the driving force behind everything we do.

Whether it’s making decisions on a day to day basis, just moving through space, or being able to talk or interact or work with your children.

Dr. Sullivan is what I call a doctor’s doctor. She’s a chiropractor and also has a Ph.D. in neuroscience. Currently she serves as Director of the Life University Dr. Sid E. Williams Center for Chiropractic Research. Dr. Sullivan is skilled at doing rigorous research projects that relate directly to our quality of life.
