In this presentation Dr. Pierre Kory is being interviewed by Bret Weinstein, PhD, Biology, on Dark Horse podcast. Dr. Kory is a Medical Doctor with specialty in Pulmonology and Intensive Care medicine. He has written a textbook on Pulmonology medicine that is used in many medical schools today.  Thus, it should be noted that he is no fringe crank peddling misinformation. The information that he is giving is based on his experience in treating hundreds of CV patients, successfully with protocols that have been developed by a panel of international physicians, based on their experience and observations.

The simple proposition Dr. Kory is presenting is that the drug Ivermectin has shown itself to be highly effective in treating and preventing CV; and if it had been used as per the protocol they have developed, it would have saved hundreds of thousands of lives during this current pandemic. He is mystified that a drug that has been used since 1987 with over 3.7 billion doses, given globally with few problems has been so maligned by the medical/political leaders in the USA and elsewhere.

During the interview, the subject/question came up of what could possibly be influencing the drastic decision by medical and pharmaceutical entities to pass on a safe inexpensive available drug but rather develop a very expensive, genetic driven injection that is untested for long-term issues and is showing itself to have many problems.. Could it be that the financial incentive has overtaken the motives of those making the decisions for the public health? As one considers the heavy financial hitters involved in bringing the injection to market, it appears that this could very well be the driving force. Dr. Kory is concerned that many medical professionals seem to have abandoned the Hippocratic Oath that they have sworn – to do no harm.

Ivermectin was discovered by Satoshi Omura, a microbiologist in Japan who traveled around his country trying to find an alternative antibiotic naturally produced in the soil. He sent the samples to William Campbell in New Jersey who tested the samples against parasitic worms. They were eventually awarded a Nobel Prize in physiology and medicine in 2015 for their discovery and work.

The chorus from the establishment sources demands that there needs to be double-blind, randomized, peer reviewed studies in order for Ivermectin to be accepted for treatment. Dr. Kory explains that a good doctor takes a scientific approach to how they practice medicine. They observe what works and what does not. Over the years of their experience, they gain an intuitive sense about what to look for and how to apply it.

They communicate with other doctors and share their experiences and observations. They don’t need a double-blind study each time to make their recommendations. On top of that, they don’t need a non-practicing, politically appointed, paper pushing, elitist telling them what they can and can’t do; even to the point of threatening their license and position if they disagree with the “official consensus.” They certainly don’t need some technocrat censoring them on the basis of some “fact checker” who has no qualifications that can come even close to matching their knowledge and experience.

The mainstream establishment ignores results from many countries that use Ivermectin routinely for parasite control, but amazingly have low incidents of CV in the process. They ignore a trial that was done with high-risk medical personnel that had 700+ people take Ivermectin and over 400 not take it. Of the 700 group, not one contracted CV. Of the 400 group, 53% turned up positive.

There are many more such results being observed around the world.  Yet, our own medical establishment continues down the road of trying to force everyone to get the injection when a reasonably safe alternative is readily available for very low cost.
