To raise money for his research, he demonstrated this invention in his laboratory, where he stood in front of a large flat spiral Tesla coil, turned off the lights and literally turned blue from the tiny electrical lightning bolts that emanated from is skin. These sparks that covered his body are called cold corona discharges, which are just ultraviolet light that created ozone all over his body. It’s similar to Kirlian photography, where the object glows blue, but in this case it was his entire body. He became an ultraviolet light bulb!
Tesla eventually commercialized the process and patented a small ozone machine to sell to hospitals and doctors. Plus, he sold ozonated olive oil for the general public. Tesla also developed custom hand-held energy devices called The Violet Ray to sell to hospitals, doctors, and eventually private consumers. Edgar Cayce was a big promoter of Tesla’s Violet Ray.
MOH: What motivated you to take on this project?
BOB: It was sort of a necessity for me. I had to find a way to cure myself from a terrible depression and a wide variety of strange physical manifestations that no doctor or religious priest could relive me from. They all said that it was “stress” from my work and that I needed to get away from civilization and spend more time in nature. So I did. I bought an Airstream trailer and just started living in the forest. That seemed to help a lot. But when I came back to my home office, the depression and mysterious pains returned.
Eventually, by trial and error, I discovered that I had become electrosensitive and allergic to my high-tech job. It’s something that Tesla suffered from too — over exposures to the wrong type of magnetic fields from our wireless technology. To treat his over exposures to magnetic fields in his laboratory, he walked ten miles every day through central park and a forest that he owned on Long Island. Moving through the Earth’s natural magnetic fields revitalized him. Nature is a very powerful thing. He eventually invented machines that emulated the healing powers of the Earth and the Sun.
