Our recommendation in this issue is the beautiful animation produced by Makoto Shinkai, “Your Name”, aka “Kimi No Na Wa”/”君の名は”. This wonderfully drawn romance and drama film, animated by Comix Wave Films, handles two main characters, who, after waking up, have switched bodies.
At first they think it’s a dream, however, after multiple occurrences they realize it isn’t. The film is about their story, how they meet and handle the situation. The various songs composed by the Japanese rock band Radwimps fit perfectly into each segment they appear in and give them so much more emotion. Their songs received many positive comments. The film has very few mistakes and is the highest grossing anime film ever, we highly recommend you watch it.
