The tee shot at the 5th is protected by a long waste area that lines the entire left side of the fairway. Players that steer away from this waste area may find themselves blocked out by a tree on the right side of the fairway. A well struck tee shot down the left center of the fairway lends the best angle into the green to avoid the large bunker in front of the green.
