MASC Young Authors and Illustrators Festival

Now in its 29th year ! This year , the annual MASC Young Authors and Illustrators Festival will take students on a virtual journey into the literary worlds of some of Canada ’ s finest creators of books for children and teens . Students in grades 5 to 8 may sign up for a variety of interactive literary workshops , where they will work with the authors and illustrators of their choice . MASC is delighted to feature some of our favourites from festivals past , including authors Kevin Sands , Monique Polak , Jessica Scott Kerrin and Caroline Pignat ; and graphic novelist Kean Soo .
The festival will take place in April 2021 .
