Artist-In-
Residence
Grants Available
Artist-In-Residence Program
Residency programs provide
hands-on learning opportunities
for students through multiple-
day, artist-led projects. Artists
and teachers can work
collaboratively to create arts
infused curriculum, or ‘Art for
Art’s sake’ programs. If you would
like to book an artist for a
project of three or more full days,
but require financial assistance,
you may be eligible to receive a
financial subsidy. While these
grants substantially cover the
costs of MASC residencies, your
school will be responsible for any
remaining balance.

“ Over my 18 years of teaching,
I have seen first-hand the
empowerment that the Arts
offers our students.
From creative hands-on
workshops to inspiring
presentations, our students and
staff benefit from the
programming offered through
MASC. Having these talented
artists come and work with our
students is life-changing.
