Sky Woman Falls to the Earth (Grades K - 8/sec II)
Sky Woman Falls to the Earth is an ancient
Haudenosaunee creation story. Using mask,
movement and scripted narration, the story brings
the audience to a time when there was only a
water world and a sky world. From this legend we
learn how sky woman created what we now know
as Turtle Island.
Spirit of Dance (Grades K - 12/sec V)
This performance celebrates the diversity of our
evolving culture with vibrant performances of five
unique Pow Wow dance styles set to the “heartbeat”
of the drum, concluding with a special contemporary
hoop dance as well as a friendship dance.
