Growing up on cyberpunk novels, comic books and video games I always dreamt of a cyberpunk future similar to something out of a Neal Stepehnson novel or the movie Blade Runner. I would love to see how biological, chemical and electronic enhancements would allow us to transcend the limitations of our bodies and minds and become post-human, trans-human – whatever you want to call it. On a personal level, this would allow me to augment my body with various deeply integrated cyborg attachments and capabilities! Q: A: What tech trend do you anticipate the most in the next five years? Energy harvesting, specifically from the body. Since wearable tech is getting smaller and smaller, power requirements will reduce and people will favor sustainable systems.
