So click away and learn how you can protect yourself – and your family and friends – from a needless and preventable tragedy. I urge you to buy the best you can afford and use it EVERY time. I have added prussic knot systems to my stands and plan to purchase a new safety vest that allows me to lower myself to the ground in the event of a fall. I look forward to sitting in one of my many treestands and knowing that I am as safe as I can be as I ponder – Should I switch to mechanicals or stick with fixed blades? Should I give that old recurve a try again? Are the new conical slugs really worth the switch?

And maybe, if I’m lucky: Should pass I up that buck or not?!
