Everyone save the date ; Saturday November 5th is the MCRP ’ s 3rd Annual Casino Night sponsored by Hub City Iron and Metal . This year it looks to be bigger than ever . The MCRP have more games tables , bigger prizes and a DJ on site all night for those who want to dance the night away !!! Doors open at 6:30 - Casino tables at 7:30 .
Tickets for the event are $ 20 and available online at www . martensvillecrp . weebly . com or you can purchase them at Gateway Travel in Martensville . Included in the price of the ticket is admission , “ Casino Money ” and a late lunch provided by the Smokehaus Meats and Deli .
This is the third year the MCRP is hosting the Casino Night and are expecting over 300 people to attend . Every year this event has grown due to the great community support and the work of all the volunteers . This year there is a great opportunity for all our hockey teams . If your team is purchasing tickets , please contact Matt Hale ( hale _ matt @ hotmail . com ) or Jesse Reis ( jesse . reis @ spiritsd . ca ). If your team purchases 10 tickets , your team will be put in a draw to win a $ 300 bar tab . There are consolation draws of a $ 200 and $ 100 bar tab also . For any extra 10 tickets your team purchases , your team gets an additional entry . If you want tickets , please contact Jesse or Matt .
Finally , seeing as this event is growing , we are looking for volunteers to help deal either Black Jack or Hold ’ em . Volunteers get free admission into the event . If you would like to help out the MCRP , please contact Gerri at clelan @ sasktel . net .
This is looking to be a great night . Proceeds for this event go the MCRP who are working toward getting a second ice surface in our great city . Come out to support this cause and have a blast with the great people in our great city .

Martensville PeeWee A Snipers Win A Final in Dalmeny
The Martensville PeeWee A Snipers won the A Side Final at the Dalmeny PeeWee A tournament Oct . 21-23 . Eight teams from Regina , Warman , Delise , Dalmeny and Saskatoon attended .
The Snipers started the tournament with a dramatic come from behind win . Down 3-1 mid way through the third , they mounted a come back to win 4-3 . They followed that with a 9-2 win over the Saskatoon Bob Cat Oilers and a hard fought battle over Delise winning 3-1 to finish 3-0 and top in their pool . They met the Saskatoon BobCat Jets in the final winning 3-0 .
