Monthly Instagram
Competition Winners!
For the month of April, the Instagram
photography theme was
appropriately ‘Toys in Lockdown’.
We had a wide range of entries from
Dr Who to Pac Man with all the toys
keeping themselves busy during
lockdown. The pupil winner with her
dramatic Jack Skellington image
was Eva Hastings who really
captured the emotion of the current
situation. The winner of the
teacher’s category was Mr Bell who
humorously portrayed the essence
of video calling!
The theme for May’s competition is
‘Reflections’. It can be a portrait, still
life, landscape or abstract but
experiment and be creative with
the theme!
Advanced Higher Success
All 5 Advanced Higher Art and
Design pupils have received
unconditional offers to further their
study in the field of Art & Design.
They have received offers at top Art
schools across the country; to study
Fashion, Visual Communication,
Digital Art and Photography. We
are immensely proud of their
achievements not only with regards
to their Advanced Higher Folios but
of the additional work required to
develop a successful Art School
Portfolio. Their work ethic,
determination and drive has been
truly outstanding, and they are an
inspiration to those who hope to do
the same next year.
