Marr College Music Video
– Jump!
Over 40 members of Marr College
staff came together to create a
video to bring some cheer during
the lockdown. Staff were keen to
give students a laugh at their air
guitar attempts, costumes and
various jumps – all set to Van Halen’s
‘Jump’!
We have to say thank you to Mr
Baillie for putting together the video
and co-ordinating each line of the
song – no easy task.

example, we have devised a new
booklet on transition which will go
on Teams as an activity for our new
S1. Normally this month we would
send down some S1 to do a Q&A
session. We are hopeful that we can
recruit some S1 to make a video
answering some of the P7 questions
and for the new S1s to build relations
with staff and pupils at Marr.
Guidance, subject departments
and other staff will be involved in online
guides, including videos,
pictures, slides and info. More info to
come.
S3 Geography
S3 Geography classes were
exploring the theme of The World
Outside my Window. They looked at
how they were linked to places and
how those places have changed.
There were some great examples
including Daniel who was
researching Derby and Josh who
was researching Florida as a holiday
destination.
P7 Transitions
Guidance, SFL and Primaries are
working together on a virtual
transition to support our new S1s. For
