Marr College is proud to announce that we have been selected as a Microsoft Elevate Pathfinder School for the year 2026-27. This prestigious recognition places Marr among a small number of schools across the country leading the way in innovative and the use of digital tools to enhance learning and teaching. In the past we have been awarded Microsoft Showcase School for 3 years running- we are keen to work towards the new awards in the Microsoft Elevate Schools programme- which have a focus on the use and governance of AI in education.
Becoming a Pathfinder School reflects the commitment of our staff and learners to embracing digital tools that enrich teaching, deepen engagement and prepare young people for the modern world. Through the programme, Marr College will work closely with Microsoft and other Pathfinder schools to explore new approaches to learning, trial emerging technologies and share best practice across the wider education community.
This recognition is not only a celebration of the progress we have already made, but a springboard for what comes next. We are incredibly proud of this achievement and excited about the opportunities it brings for our whole school community.
