World Book Day is a day for children and adults alike to come together and share their love of books through different book-based activities. This year world book day was held on March 5 th, however there was book-based activities across the week. These activities include a Traitors-themed book game during the S1-S3 library period, a door decoration competition for staff, a Friday staff get-together to swap books, and a murder mystery event at lunch on Book Day. Many students and teachers are taking part in these events and others like them to appreciate the joy that reading brings and to inspire others to read and join in!

Miss Lennie nominated Robbie Connell for the prestigious Ken Muir Award, which exists to honour those who demonstrate outstanding personal growth, effort, and resilience. Robbie attended the awards evening earlier this week hosted in Stirling. Robbie was nominated for always being enthusiastic, being a team leader throughout the course and never backing down from challenges along the way.
