Swimming Success
A large number of Marr pupils took part in the South Ayrshire Swimming Championships at the end of February, achieving fantastic results across the board. Well done to all competitors and staff supporting them.
Ayrshire Cup Final- Football
Our Senior Boys unfortunately lost out in the Ayrshire Cup Final against Kilwinning Academy. A slow start meant they were always chasing the game, but they worked hard throughout and pulled a goal back late on. While disappointed, the boys should be immensely proud of reaching the final for the second year in a row – a fantastic achievement.
SPEN Warriors Championship – Semi Final
All three squads were outstanding, winning every game – 10 wins out of 10. Behaviour throughout was excellent, and pupils were a real credit to Marr College. Thank you to Colin and our coaches for their fantastic supportachievement.
Volleyball Success
Well done to our S1 / S2 girls Volleyball teams, who competed at Carrick Academy in the South Ayrshire Schools Tournament. Both teams demonstrated excellent teamwork and determination, with our S2 team bringing home the trophy after a dominant performance. Thank you to Miss Rogerson for leading the teams.
HPX Success
On Friday, pupils from S1 – S6 attended the first ever South Ayrshire HPX Secondary Fitness Race at Riverside, Ayr.
After an incredibly dominant display, Marr claimed the top spot on the podium ����� A huge well done to all pupils involved for showing determination, teamwork and ambition. Thank you to Miss Kennedy and our brilliant PE staff for their support.
