Rugby vs Hockey Match Written by Callie and Alice, S2
Rugby vs hockey was a fun sports competition between 2 teams, they played hockey but switched each other’ s outfits! It was such a fun experience it was so full of tension people shouting for others; excited to see the match, to see the others play. It genuinely held the tradition astonishingly. It was truly great to see the rivalry, the competition, and the genuine fun that filled the pitch. The fundraising part was also so lovely that the S6 ' s wanted to leave a legacy and they did, they raised so much money!
A fun sports day could make a massive impact, before this they did have a lot of money saved up from throughout their years at Marr, but this one was definitely my favourite. I love the both sports and to see them both play so well so was fun! If you were there you definitely would’ ve enjoyed yourself, I feel everybody enjoyed themselves but at the end of the day it helped charity which was my favorite part about it, the impact of saving up that money could do is incredible.
