to thank her for bringing cups of tea
throughout the day to keep her
going.
Our local community is important to
us and it has been great to see so
many of our students and staff
supporting the fight against the
spread of COVID-19.
Throughout the school closures,
Marr College has remained open as
a South Ayrshire food hub. The
fantastic catering team initially
provided a collection service,
before moving on to deliveries
across the Marr cluster schools. In
partnership with CLD, Employability
and Skills, Community Safety and
South Ayrshire Council, the team are
now providing food parcels for
families. You can see the scale of
the operation from the number of
boxes in the picture!
Delivery Drivers
Marr College is being used as a
Humanitarian Resource Centre and
in order to get the meals out to the
community we also must thank the
delivery
drivers.
We
really
appreciate your hard work.
Marr Staff - Volunteers
Monkton Primary school is our local
education hub and has been
providing ongoing childcare for key
worker families, with several Marr
College staff volunteering to
support our amazing Primary school
colleagues as required.
