Our S2 and S3 students have been
working towards achieving their
Bronze Award for the Inspiring Digital
Enterprise Award (known as iDEA).
This is an innovative, free online
resource
that
helps
students

skills which have been identified as
essential skills for life and work.

flexible and can be accessed from
home or via a mobile device. iDEA
badges support both formal and
informal learning – they have been
mapped against the National
Curriculum and the Skills Framework
for the Information Age. Some
examples of the different badges
available include: social media
marketing, cyber security, python
coding, e-commerce and money
management. For more information

completion of each level students
receive a certificate along with a

employment marketability in the
Rewards Day
All students took part in the 8-week
Challenge in the run up to the Christmas
holiday. Students were rewarded with a
day of festive activities on Thursday 19 th
December. Students were able to
choose from a wide variety of activities
including: Christmas movies, board
games, end of the year quizzes,
computer games, festive Lego, escape
rooms and Christmas cooking. There
was even a Maths Christmas Party with
party games, Christmas Karaoke and
hot chocolate and marshmallows. This
was also a dress down day. Students
and staff had a great time taking part in
the festive activities and are looking
forward to the next rewards day at the
end of the summer term!
