Art and Design Photography
Competition
The Art and Design Department are
running an Instagram photography
competition every month. Each
month has a different theme it is
open to all pupils and staff at
Marr. In October four images that
captured the theme of Autumn
were shortlisted, these were then
posted on the Instagram page
again and the photograph with the
most likes after 24 hours was the
winner. Dan Murray in S1 was the
clear winner with 155 likes on his
autumnal
coloured
sunset
photograph. The staff winner was
Mr Strachan for his colour select
leaf. Well done to all entries, we
look forward to seeing your
photographs for November in the
theme of the colour blue. Add
pictures
down to one painting which we felt
had the most visual impact and
represented Christmas. The winner
of this competition was Rebecca
Muir in S3. Rebecca’s creation will
then be used in a unique gallery
alongside a Christmas message.
