P7 Transitions
Written by Grace Taylor , S4 As a new school year approaches , we are getting ready to welcome the new S1s . The P7s have been visiting the school for a Marr themed scavenger hunt whilst having a tour of the school building .
On the 17th of May , the P7s and their parents were invited up for guided tours by our S3 Marr pupils where they found out a little bit about each department and got a look round the school . Our p7s also had a taste of a few days at Marr when they came for their Bump Up Days on the 14th and the 15th of June . Students followed a timetable , met teachers and saw some new faces . Mrs Cooper wanted to say what excellent feedback there had been after the visit and we hope all our new S1 students are excited to be starting next term !
We are delighted to be sharing this months ’ newsletter with P7 students who will be joining us at Marr College next year . We hope it gives you an insight into some of the wonderful things that go on at the school and the different types of activities you can take part in in the future !
Our new S2 News and Media Elective were working on some ‘ top tips ’ and articles especially for our new S1s . They even interviewed each other to get some more information about their life at Marr – have a read of what they had to say below !

Lunch Tips Sometimes it ' s hard to order your lunch so Marr have this wonderful app called Fusion Online to make ordering your lunch easier . After ordering your lunch you will be given a number , then you go to the Creation Station at lunch and you will tell the people there your number .
