Sir Tom Hunter Challenge

The Sir Tom Hunter Challenge is about young entrepreneurs in S3 starting a business to battle global issues and create an affordable achievable product .
Students worked in groups to create a business plan and pitch for their innovative business idea . They presented to these to the class and an overall winner was chosen . Well done to the winners from the S3 Business Management classes who went through to represent the school : Connor MacDonald , Isla Duffy , Amy Milby and Lucy Quinn
The winning team recorded their business pitch and submitted it to judges including Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce to see who would make it through to the Ayrshire final .
Unfortunately , the team did not make it through to the final but received great feedback from the judges . Participants will be receiving a Sir Tom Hunter Challenge certificate after the summer . Well done everyone !
S6 Prom and Staff V S6 Football Match
S6 looked fantastic at their Prom this month at the Brig o ’ Doon . The photo booth was a big hit ( with the staff too ) and everyone had a great evening . The staff v S6 boys football match took place with the staff team taking an early advantage in the first half .
The S6 boys were chasing the game and in what seemed like 17 minutes of second half injury time , the boys earned a lucky draw with the match ending 6-6 . Well done to the winners !
