Congratulations National Finalists !
The Business Department want to say congratulations to our # Digi- Inventors Challenge finalists , Motivational Mandi and Put Stress to Rest , who made it through to the international final of the competition this month ! Only 4 teams from across Scotland are chosen as finalists and we were delighted to have 2 teams make it through .

For reaching the final the team received a bag of goodies including chargers , notebooks , flasks and Glasgow Warriors merchandise .
The competition is run by the DHI in collaboration with Glasgow Warriors . Students work in teams to create an innovative digital product that aims to help improve either the mental of physical well-being of young people in Scotland . Both students chose to create apps designed to support young people with their mental health .
The teams , along with Miss Wyllie , were invited to take part in a 2-day international Bootcamp which took place in City of Glasgow College . They participated alongside schools from Scotland ( Merchiston Castle School and Robert Burns Academy ) and schools from across Dubai .
The team worked with industry experts - taking part in several workshops aimed to help develop their entrepreneurial skills , presentation technique and marketing knowledge . Some of the experts included : DHI , the Scottish Tech Army ,
The team used this knowledge to help improve their final business plan . They presented their final pitch to a panel of expert judges .
