English Department Creative Writing Competition
Written by Itai Ben Horesh , S1 The November creative writing competition , hosted for the Scottish World Book Week , asked students to write a 50-word short story about haggis ! We are delighted to announce that the winner was Cameron Weekes in 2L .
The December competition required writers to write a 50-word short story about writing a letter to Santa , winner yet to be announced !
Business Education Student of the Month
Well done to Abbie ( S6 ) who was the Business Education Student of the Month . Abbie is hardworking and enthusiastic in class . She is kind enough to give her time to act as peer support in some of our BGE classes and is also a valued member of the Student Digital Champion group – well done Abbie ! We also want to say well done to 2p10 who were our Class of the Month . The class showed great creativity when creating their climate change animations and also set an excellent example of helping one another with tasks .
