Some success stories include one S6 pupil performing so well during their placement that they have subsequently secured a part-time job with their work placement provider ! Sourcing work placements is provided by DYW Ayrshire who have been a great support in facilitating employer engagements – particularly during challenging times within industry and business .
Huge thanks to all our providers , and special mentions to Dundonald Castle Visitor Centre , Community Gift Exchange and Muirhead Primary School & EYC who have supported enhanced transitions for work placement and provided longer-term and flexible placement for Marr pupils .
