Chemistry Stars of the Month !
The Chemistry Department have been running a monthly competition called Chemistry Star of the Month . We would like to say well done to the winners . Keep up the good work everyone !
N5 Practical Cookery Success
We are incredibly proud of our N5 Practical Cookery class who completed their practical prelim this month . Their challenge was to prepare a set menu for four people in 2.5 hours . On the menu was Carrot and Sweet potato soup served with Parsley Croutons , Italian Pork Loaves served with Tagliatelle , and Salted Caramel Profiteroles filled with Vanilla Cream .
Since beginning the course in August , our pupils have worked tirelessly to upskill themselves in numerous cookery processes and preparation techniques . They have demonstrated outstanding amounts of commitment , focus , organisation , skill , and resilience in order to prepare and ensure that their dishes turned out perfectly – and the results speak for themselves ! Well done to all and we are so excited for what is yet to come .
