‘ The 12ks of Christmas ’ Written by Grace Taylor and Sophie Abbott , S3
Staff at Marr College have been taking part in the 12ks of Christmas ! Each day Mr Reid has been picking a distance at random – ranging between 1k-10k . Staff can then complete that distance by running , walking , cycling or rowing . This year Mr Reid has made it all the more difficult by adding in activities that are to be completed each day e . g . sit ups , planks etc . Well done to all the staff who are still in the running and thank you to Mr Reid for organising .

Swimming Success Well done to Lucy Grieve who broke 2 Scottish records in the pool last weekend – including the 50m Butterfly . Well-deserved , great news Lucy !
Business Student of the Month
Well done to George in S3 who was the Business Education student of the Month . George is hardworking and enthusiastic in class and has also shown great community spirit ; helping peers . We also want to say well done to 2p9 who were our class of the month . The class showed great creativity when creating their Climate change animations and also set an excellent example of helping one another with tasks .
