P7 Transitions
We are delighted to be sharing this months ’ newsletter with P7 students who will be joining us at Marr College next year . We hope it gives you an insight into some of the wonderful things that go on at the school and the different types of activities you can take part in in the future !
Mrs Cooper wanted to check in with pupils to ensure they have started working through their transition workbook . We hope you are enjoying the curricular projects based around Literacy with Mrs Russell and the English Department – the teachers are looking forward to collecting the P7 jotters and marking them .
We look forward to hearing about your STEM tasks from Mr Hamilton – these are uploaded to Teams for classes to complete . Our senior students have also created videos and PowerPoints giving a tour of the school and answering some of our P7 pupils ’ questions . Short department videos have been shared with our primary partner schools from English , PE , HE , Science , RMPS and Design and Technology .
The Business Education Department have been creating invites for all of our partner Primary Schools – to invite P7s to their Marr College visit in May . These have been created by S2 Digital Enterprise students using Canva – they were very excited to be involved in sending invites to their own Primary Schools . We look forward to meeting you here at Marr !
