Docking Stations
Each instructional laptop has a docking station connected to a monitor. When the laptop is docked, you can use both monitors by simply pressing the windows button and "P," then choose extend. This is perfect for when students are creating a presentation, but need to see their research at the same time!

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I move my docking station and monitor to another spot in my classroom?
A: Yes! Your laptop, docking station, and monitor can be moved around to best fit the needs of you and your students. A good tip would be to take a photo of how everything is plugged in to make sure everything is connected correctly after the move.
Q: Can I set my laptop up to control my SMARTBoard?
A:. No. The laptop and docking station are not reliable sources for controling the SMARTBoard. Your instructional desktop should already be set up to control the SMARTBoard.
Q: How will my documents, grades, etc. be safe if I let students use the computers in my room?
A: When someone else logs in to the instructional laptop or desktop, they are only logging in to their network account. They are not able to see anything from your account just as you are unable to see anything from their account. The important thing to remember is to always LOG OUT of your account before switching users.
