Howdy! I am so excited to start my first full year as the Campus Instructional Technology Specialst (CITS) for the Maroon Track in LCISD! I would like to take this time to welcome all of the teachers who are new to the Maroon Track this year! We're so happy you are here! Also, here is a little bit about me...for those who are curious. I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2006 and started my career teaching 8th grade science in Corrigan, TX. Since then I've taught in Navasota, TX, Faribanks, AK, Missouri City, TX, and most recently I taught Biology at George Ranch HS. I took on my new role as a CITS in December 2015.
A little bit more about me...
My husband and I have been beekeepers for a little over 3 years, and we just started a small honey extraction business to help out other small scale beekeepers like us.
I have a 2 year old German Shepherd named Porter and 7 chickens.
I love being outside gardening, exploring and being active. I have competed in the StrongFirst Tactical Strength Challenge for 2 years and will be competing again in October.
And last, but certainly not least, I absolutely LOVE my job!! Sharing my passion with educators is a dream come true!
