Kindness To Oneself :
For many people unfortunately this can be the hardest act of kindness of all . Practicing affirmations can positively support reprogramming internal dialogue and overcoming negative chatter . Being kind and caring for oneself may include having a bath with luxurious oils , regular grooming appointments , eating nutritious food , putting yourself to bed at a reasonable hour , saying “ no ” to people when appropriate and saying “ yes ” when you deserve to !

Kindness creates an endless ripple of goodness . Be kinder than is necessary – everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle . Making the decision to be a little kinder brings more joy and fulfilment to your life than ever before . The world isn ’ t always fair . We all have our turns of being up and down . Sometimes the world feels incredibly unfair and it ’ s important to remember and cherish positive moments of joy , to fill our cups when levels drop . Cultivating gratitude and empathy aids fulfilment spilling over to wishing others happiness too . Random acts of kindness towards others , even complete strangers , serves to really renew ones faith in the world and other people . Helping each other out for no other reason simply than to be good people and encourage connection . Just perhaps the world isn ' t the bad place some people try to make it out to be after all ?
Kindness to living things :
Get conscious , consider the earth and her living creatures and the interconnections of all life . Do your best to protect our water resources , bee population , food sources , plant new and look after old trees , care for animals , cut down on plastics and packaging , compost and recycle … be the change .

- Forgive and Forget : don ’ t beat yourself up and let others off the hook .

- Walk a Mile in Their Shoes – exercising compassion and down playing judgement towards others .
- Kill Them With Kindness – be kind to someone you don ’ t get along with to try to understand them .
- Delayed Gratitude – we often neglect those closest to us , who is your unsung hero ?
