Q . What do you love most about Kaikoura ?
A . I love the natural beauty of Kaikoura , the seascapes enhanced by their magnificent Kaikoura Ranges backdrop !!
Q . What is unique about your art ?
A . I strive to be different , you have to be in a competitive market ! There are many great artists inspired by our beautiful country . I use hand crafted original shaped canvases and unique self-designed custom wood triptych displays . I often use textures of natural materials in my oil scapes , and am currently playing with pouring mediums in the most beautiful translucent colours in the liquitex medium .

Q . What is something about you that people may not know ?
A . I ' m in the Guinness Book of Records !! Featured in the largest jersey every knitted !! A photo with me and 74 others contained in the Jersey at the Whataroa Show , in the 80 ' s .
Q . What 3 celebrities or important people would you love to do a commissioned piece for ?
A . I would love to do a figure drawing of Brad Pitt !
Make a diplomatic artwork for Helen Clarkes office at the UN .
And present James Blunt with the artwork I have already made dedicated to his song " Bonfire Heart "!
Q . What inspires you ?
A . The seen and unseen ! I love the changing lights of day beginning and end ! I ' m also inspired by what we can ' t see yet feel , and the purpose of why we are here .
Q . What do you love most about Marlborough ?
A . Our location at the top of the South . We are not to far away from Wellington , Christchurch or Nelson and we have the beautiful Marlborough Sounds on our doorstep and wonderful summers !
Q . What is unique about your art ?
A . I create contemporary art work with a retro twist by incorporating vintage and retro sewing patterns in my art work .
Q . What is something about you that people may not know ?
A . I collect stamps . They are like tiny little art works . I love them !
Q . What 3 celebrities or important people would you love to do a commissioned piece for ?
A . 1 : Dick Fizzell - because I love his work .
2 : Helen Mirrian - because she seems effortlessly ageless in an age that expends so much effort on being ageless !
3 : Banksy - because I like the way he uses his art to make a statement .

A . Other peoples art , the good the bad and the ugly !
