A Rucking Good NZ Comedy
PACK OF GIRLS

To celebrate 70 years of the Marlborough Repertory
Society, Bridget McNamara and all local cast, are
bringing you live theatre with live rugby on stage for
the first time! This is a show not to be missed.
A classic New Zealand comedy ‘Pack
Of Girls’ follows the fortunes of rugby
widow Pam. Fed up with her husband’s
misguided dreams of sporting stardom,
together with her motley seven-a-side
all-female rugby team, the Hurridames,
Pam challenges the men on and off the
field to pull their heads in and “use it or
lose it!”

Sparking with wit, racy banter and the
odd swear word, ‘Pack Of Girls’ is a bois-
terous Battle of the Sexes played out on
our field of dreams.
We chat with the Productions Director
Bridget McNamara for the inside scoop
before dress rehearsals begin.
Bridget McNamara has been involved in
local theatre since she was a wee tacker.
From Rizzo in ‘Grease’ to Anne Boleyn
in the production of the same name,
she has spent most of her time on
stage. Pack of Girls is Bridget’s second
directorship effort, following her debut
with Fox on the Fairway in 2016. Off
stage Bridget loves living life in Rarangi
with her hubby and pets.
