This month we hit mid-winter ...
what does
Winter mean to you ?
Is it a dark , dreary , depressing gloomy season ... or is it an opportunity to do things differently from previous seasons ?
I believe it is the latter , as every season has something great and unique to offer - do the seasonal things that are happening right now , and enjoy winter .
It also brings you to the halfway mark of the year . How are those New Year ' s resolutions or goals you set going ?
Approximately 85 % of people who set New Year ’ s resolutions or goals never achieve them . Now that the days are shorter , make the most of this extra time you are spending inside and work on your goals , so you can be one of the 15 % who do achieve them .
Instead of going into hibernation and hiding away in your comfy clothes , set a challenge for yourself ; get out there and do something new , and make it even more fun by teaming up with a friend . Learn to think differently , break some rules , push your limits and never , ever give up !
The responsibility for the life you have and how you live it is totally in your hands . Take some action towards getting your ideal life - it could be as simple as picking up the phone and booking in for those classes you have always wanted to take ... music , art . Or maybe it ' s joining the gym , going to a therapist or counsellor , getting a coach to help you make the changes you want , or maybe you need help to start that business you ' ve always dreamed of .
The most important friend in your life is yourself , so take the time to give to YOU . Booking a session with a coach is giving to yourself , investing in yourself and your growth , by being your best friend .
