Mix up the concrete , until it has reached a consistency similar to soft serve ice cream . Pour the concrete into the PVC pipe and give it a few hard taps as you fill it up to get rid of any air bubbles . When it ’ s filled to the top , carefully push the garden fork inside . Wipe any concrete that has spilled out and ensure the handle is still centred . Allow to cure somewhere dry for 24 – 48 hours . To unmould , cut the duct tape and remove the PVC pipe . Sand any rough spots away , and add any other elements – like this tin “ STOP ” sign that was screwed into the example doorstop . You could cut any tin can and do the same – perfect for your entertaiment area is you have a favourite canned drink brand .
