For Roy, the lesson is simple. Farmers need to experiment, adapt and listen to the people who can help them solve problems.
“ With the necessary assistance from other farmers and institutions, it helps to keep quiet and listen,” he says bluntly.
Justin and Miles have come into the business at a stage where many of the hardest lessons have already been learnt. Roy believes their task is to build on that foundation, improve the system and keep doing things better.
