BUY ( DRY ) WOOD IN BULK
Check your local business directories , Facebook pages and Whats- App groups for a bulk wood supplier who will deliver and stack your wood . This will work out much cheaper than buying a bag or two every time you want a fire . Make sure the wood is dry and well-aged , as wet or green wood will cause more smoke and contribute to soot build-up in the chimney . Wet wood will also make it difficult to get a decent fire going or cause it to go out all the time , which can be very frustrating .
