Pour and position handle: Pour the mixture into your mould. Gently tap the sides to remove air bubbles. Press your knotted rope or strap into the centre of the cement with the loop sticking out. Make sure it’ s secure and centred— this will be your handle. Let it cure: Allow your door stopper to cure for 24 to 48 hours in a dry, shaded area. Avoid moving it or exposing it to direct sunlight while it sets. This ensures strength and prevents cracks. Demould and Smooth: Once fully cured, gently remove the concrete from the mould. If needed, use sandpaper to smooth out any rough edges for a clean, modern look.
