MEET Rod Nichol
Growing up on Lake Huron in Michigan, Rod naturally developed a love
for the water and boating. Moving to the west coast of Florida in 1982,
he became an avid fisherman. Owning many vessels throughout the
years, he has acquired a broad knowledge of yacht styles and models.
Rod currently owns a sportfish, which has become one of his favorite
styles.
Rod has his 100-ton Master Captains License and transports yachts with
his son Blake, also a Denison yacht broker. He has extensive experience
in various systems and manufacturers, allowing him to anticipate the
specific needs of his clients.
Rod was instrumental in the growth of both the Citrus County Sheriff’s
Office Aviation Unit & the Monroe County TraumaStar, which led to his
current position as Captain and Air Medical Base Supervisor for Nicklaus
Children’s LifeFlight aviation program in Miami.
Rod is honored to join the Denison team as a yacht broker and is excited
to work with you and find the yacht of your dreams.
