MEET Jorge Saavedra
Jorge Saavedra was born and raised in Havana, Cuba, where
he enjoyed spending his summers on the beach. In 1987 his
dream came true when he was able to leave the island with his
family and come to Florida. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
When he first came to Florida, he worked as a technician, and
after a few years working with the company he was promoted
to industrial engineer. He was given the opportunity to
plan and develop many automation projects for the biggest
compressor valve manufacturing company in the world,
Hoerbiger Corporation.
Before pursuing a career in yacht sales, Jorge worked in both
the real estate and mortgage fields. In 2004, he moved to the
Treasure Coast, where his passion for boating and building
relationships landed him a job with MarineMax in Stuart, FL.
During his years with MarineMax, he received training for
Hatteras, Cabo, Meridian, Sea Ray, and Boston Whaler.
Jorge is excited to be working as a broker for an organization
that has as a rich heritage as Denison Yacht Sales.
