MEET Bruce Edwards
Bruce grew up in Richmond, Virginia. His first vessel and his strong
attachment to the water started out with an inner tube (cooler
in tow) that navigated itself down the James River with its swift
currents.
After high school, Bruce enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he enjoyed
steaming around the Pacific Ocean and visiting different ports of
call. After the service, Bruce took up sailing in the magnificent
Chesapeake Bay and grew to love sailing so much that when late
November came a calling he couldn’t bear to winterize the boat. So
he decided to sail to Stuart, FL, where he became a yacht delivery
captain and eventually migrated into yacht sales.
The one major thing Bruce learned over the years regarding sales
is to respect both the buyer and the seller and to be honest and
forthright with both parties involved. Bruce strongly feels that if all
of the cards are on the table (face up), then no one gets hurt and
everyone leaves the closing table happy and less stressed.
Bruce prides himself in being there for his clients before, during
and long after the sale. Happy yachting!
