PROJECT POLICIES Project Request Form After a plan has been established, please complete and submit the request via the Marketing website at www.LIFE.edu/Marketing. Content After your request has been submitted, you will be contacted by a Project Coordinator. Text and copy points for your project(s) should be sent in a Word document to your Project Coordinator, who will forward it to the communications staff within the Marketing Department. The language must always reflect LIFE’s brand as a vitalistic, academic, engaging and student- entered institution. Please review the Life c University Style Guidelines for more information. Proofreading Prior to the design phase, all text and copy you submit for your projects is reviewed for content, appropriateness, grammar and University style. The Marketing Department reserves the right to edit all text in line with the University’s editorial style. The Marketing Department will not make factual changes or check factual information. It is the client’s responsibility to supply accurate text and check facts. View the Life University Style Guidelines for more information. Design and Production The Marketing Department manages more than 1,500 projects per year for various departments throughout the University. Our success— and yours—is made possible by a clearly defined production process. In order to prevent excessive cost overages during the design and production stage, it is vital that the general direction of the content for the project is approved by the appropriate party before being sent to the Marketing Department.
