we are no exception. We felt the hit of COVID-19, but are choosing to react to hit head on and finding the opportunity in all this chaos.

“SMarketing” has changed our business
development strategy at Tulip Media over the past
eight months and is now doing the same for a few
of our early adopter Client-Partners. Our
“SMarketing” program allows you to automate the
first half of your sales process – which will make
the second half much more successful using fewer
resources.

Andy has also teamed up with good friends and
business colleagues, Todd Palmer, CEO of
Extraordinary Advisors and Nigel Bennett, CEO
of Aqua-Guard, to deliver a series of
inspirational webinars to business groups and
Entrepreneur Chapters around the world! So far,
they have spoken to EO Winnipeg, EO Toronto,
EO Vancouver, EO Malaysia and have several
more scheduled in the coming weeks. These
virtual webinars are designed to deliver
inspiration to their audiences during these
difficult times.

THE BLOW OF COVID-19.
Like so many other businesses around the world,
Tulip Media has been hit hard by the recent crisis.
Overnight, our entire team was forced to work
from home, which fortunately we were able to do
quite easily. Then, within two weeks of the
widespread lockdown, our company lost over 20%
of Client-Partners with more pausing their
engagements for a few months. No company is
immune to this crisis. However, instead of
freezing and waiting for the storm to settle, our
team decided to react proactively and find the
opportunity in this chaos. The result is the
fast-tracking of our “SMarketing” program roll
out. With companies needing to pivot the way they
reach new customers right now this new program
offering is extremely well positioned. So much so,
that just in the past four weeks, we have signed on
a record number of new Client-Partners! We have
not yet recovered to where we were before,
however, we are well on the way. With any upset
and massive change, there is always opportunity.

Since the second edition of Andy’s book, How
to Win Clients and Influence People, has been
released, he’s been busy with keynote
presentations and
conferences. This
quarter, Andy made an
appearance at an
IBANB insurance event
and was also featured
on Bill Gallagher’s
Scaling Up Podcast as
well as The Melting Pot
hosted by Dominic
Monkhouse.
