As most readers know , company culture is always # 1 here at Tulip Media Group . So much so that our very own Erika MacLeod and Stacey O ’ Brien have written a book about it ! The Ultimate Culture tells the story of our unique culture here at Tulip Media and how we ’ ve leveraged it to create a fast growing and successful company , even during the pandemic !
Many companies had been forced to work virtually , but few have thrived during Covid . If you ’ re one of those companies , this book is full of tips , tricks , and techniques that we have used to ensure that our culture remains strong . One of our favorite activities is assigning monthly culture champions . Each month , a different person is given a budget and is responsible for organizing fun activities for the company . These activities may be something the team does during our regular Friday afternoon Beer O ’ Clock that we do over Zoom , or these activities can be done during the week . They are always fun , and we always experience different ideas !
We are so confident with the way that our culture has evolved since Covid hit that we made the decision last year to remain virtual as a company permanently .
