MFRW: Generally, how long does it take you to write a book? MFRW: Among your own books, do you have a favorite book? Favorite hero or heroine? MK: Anywhere from four months to darned near forever. MK: MFRW: What are your thoughts on love scenes in ro- mance novels? My favorite book tends to be the one I’m plan- ning. The one I’m working on is all too often more of a battlefield than a companion. Favor- ite character, hands down, Rosalind Summer- ton (Question of Faith) She says what I wish I could. MK: For me emotional and physical intimacy is a critical part of any relationship, whether in a book or in life. MFRW: Are you in control of your characters or do they control you? What can we expect from you in the future? MK: They let me think I control them, but they run away with the story at every opportunity. MFRW: 9
