ZORAIDA GREY AND THE VOODOO QUEEN
By: Sorchia DuBois
Magic may save Zoraida‟s skin,
but what about her heart?
Zoraida Grey needs help. With
the witchy Logan clan holding her
best friend hostage in a haunted Scot-
tish castle, she can‟t trust anyone—
certainly not beguiling but dangerous
Shea Logan. And Al, her overprotec-
tive boyfriend, doesn‟t believe in
Only one creature strikes fear in
the blackened hearts of the Logan
witches. Trouble is Jock disappeared
five centuries ago, leaving a trail of destruction across the Gulf
of Mexico. Now he‟s stepped into a steaming pile of Voodoo.
Can Zoraida drag wayward Jock back to Scotland? And
what‟s she supposed to do with two men who promise com-
pletely different futures?
A Scottish wizard, stripped naked and painted blue—a
Voodoo priestess bent on immortality—a yacht-load of Carib-
bean pirates. What can possibly go wrong?
“I need to tell you something.” His eyebrows crush together.
“I cannae be kissing you anymore.”
“Well, that‟s fine. I cannae…I mean I can‟t be kissing you
anymore, either. I can only deal with one Scotsman at a time and
Jock is more important right now.”
He nods, still glaring at me as if I killed his cat and ate it in
front of him. “That‟s perfectly understandable.”
“And you can‟t kiss me because of the whole taking over
Castle Logan thing. I get it.”
“You were supposed to forget that. It‟s dangerous for you to
know about that.”
“Some things you can‟t un-see. Like Jock‟s bare butt.” I stifle
a little shudder.
The corners of his mouth twitch. “I hope never to witness
that again—at least not from the same angle.”
For a long minute, we half-smile at each other, an awkward
silence growing between us.
***** Review by Lia L. at The Romance Reviews:
“This book does not disappoint and is a great continuation to
the story. It really is a fun magical adventure with a great bal-
ance of light-hearted dialogue [and] danger.”
