Lindsay ’ s hands froze under the water and her breath hitched , but she willed her eyes steady , trying to remain focused on the busywork . Until Brian turned her by the shoulders and taking her face in his hands , proclaimed , “ She ’ s right .” His gaze fell to her mouth and after a long , poignant beat , he brought his lips to a whisper away from hers and hovered . She found herself barely able to expel breath , let alone move . She could only close her eyes in anticipation as he grazed her lips with his . Martha O ’ Sullivan has loved reading romance novels for as long as she can remember . Writing her own books is the realization of a lifelong dream .
